A Federal structure is the only viable state structure that can deliver on promises of good governance, self governance and management of diversity. However, the current ethno-linguistic federal arrangement needs to be reconfigured in such a way that considers issues such as ease for administration and development; culture, psychology and settlement; distribution of natural and other resources as well as in a way that the configuration promotes peaceful coexistence. Ezema also believes the system of government should move to a presidential system with proper check and balance between the organs of government. Social Justice is the political philosophy of Ezema in which the society takes collective responsibility to ensure equal opportunity for all citizens regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender, wealth, disability.
