We make our services available to all, without regard to religious belief, political ideology, gender, race or ethnolinguistic background. SIL Ethiopia was founded in 1973 as a faith based noprofit organization. In 2015 the ministry department of SIL Ethiopia was registered independently as SIL AIM. Both branches are members of SIL International. Today SIL Ethiopia is involved in language and education development in Ethiopia. We do this primarily through research, translation, training and materials development.
